Social media is an important channel that can used to help shape, influence, and perpetuate the Delta State University brand.
Delta State utilizes social media to connect and engage with a variety of audiences, including prospective and current students, faculty/staff, alumni, stakeholder, and the community. While University colleges, departments, programs, groups and entities are encouraged to be active and engaged on social media, it is equally as important that all interactions reflect the University’s brand and best interests.
The Office of Communications and Marketing has developed a social media policy and registration process to assist with managing University-affiliated accounts.
All University-affiliated social media accounts must be registered and are subject to review by the Office of Communications and Marketing.
